To give you a straight answer quickly, it helps to know four things: the date, the place, the rough timings, and what kind of occasion it is — a concert, a private event, a ceremony, a studio session or a lesson. If there is already a PA system in the room, or if one needs to be arranged, that is useful too.
I answer every enquiry personally, usually within 48 hours, in English or Italian. For the busiest dates — weekends from May to September, and the end-of-year season — it is worth getting in touch a few months ahead. That said, last-minute dates do come up: asking costs nothing.
